This new manual covers all the core areas of social welfare law, analysing them from a practitioner's point of view. It adopts a holistic approach to the subject, showing the overlap and interaction between different areas of law, and there is comprehensive cross-referencing between subjects. Common legal problems are identified and, if the answer is not provided in the manual, then the reader will be referred to other source materials, both primary and secondary. Checklists and examples are provided where appropriate and a useful selection of materials is also included. Each subject is covered by a practitioner with particular expertise in that area of law.""
