This follows the norm of the series being an annotation of the main Children's Act. It will include an introduction and complete annotation of the Act including the schedules to the Act. The Children's Act is an Act to reform the law relating to children: to provide for local authority services for children in need and others: to amend the law with respect to fostering, child -minding and day care for young children and adoption.
The Point of Law series uniquely provide the full text of each Act with a section by section explanation in plain english. Completely up-to-date each guide in the series will enable both the professional and lay reader gain a better understanding of Law. Full Text of each of the sections of the Act with a section by section explanation in plain language. A brief account of the background to the Act is included and an analysis of the key issues and procedures which the Act will introduce.
