In preparing the present Edition for the Press, such alterations have been made in the text as were necessary by recent changes in the law. Decisions bearing upon , or illustrative of, the different questions dealt with in the text, pronounced since the Third Editiom was issued, have been added; as also have a few phrases not contained in former Editions.
