Discretion and Deviation in the Administration of Immigration Control

This study examines the decisions of officials, and of official bodies, that administer the Entry Clearance System in British immigration law, both at home and abroad. It contains a thorough analysis of the right to family life in British immigration law and develops a theory of immigration adjudication in the context of the emerging national minorities in nation states worldwide.
