This single volume looseleaf considers discrimination law as a subject in its own right in the light of groundbreaking legislation such as the Disability Discrimination Act and the great increase in the number and complexity of discrimination cases in the courts and tribunals today.
It not only considers discrimination in the context of employment law but also where it may occur in the provision of goods and services, housing, education and transport services. A valuable feature is the Remedies and Quantums Division which includes a narrative of the principles to be applied in calculating quantum in discrimination cases, practical assistance in bringing or defending claims and a selection of quantum summaries to assist in estimating injury to feelings awards.
The work is updated three times a year, supplemented by a bulletin service three times a year to keep subscribers up to date with the latest law and practice. Subscribers receive the first year's updating as part of the purchase price and are then charged annually for updating.
