This volume deals with the effect of the Landlord and Tenant (Covenants) Act 1995, which came into force on 1st January 1996. This legislation is the most important change in commercial property law since the 1954 Act and its provisions may create a split in the market for commercial leases.;There will need to be substantial changes in the drafting and negotiating of comercial leases, and practitioners involved in this field will have to make significant alterations to their systems, procedures and documentation.
