Partnership working could make legal and advice services much more effective, but there are some significant obstacles to overcome before joined-up working is a reality. Because legal and advice services have grown up in an ad hoc fashion and had no shared approach to planning, public funding is not always directed to serving those who need help the most.;This book suggests ways of increasing co-operation and sets out principles on which to base the new Community Legal Service Partnerships.
