Since the publication of the first edition of Mergers and Acquisitions in China in early 2006, significant developments have taken place. The more notable ones include the introduction of the Provisions on Mergers and Acquisitions of Domestic Enterprise by Foreign Investors, the Individual Foreign Exchange Administration Method and the Measures for the Administration of the Takeover of Listed Companies.

There has also been an update on the reciprocal enforcement of judgments between Hong Kong and the PRC.
