Alternative dispute resolution is a major growth area for practitioners. ADR techniques can provide new ways of resolving legal conflicts more speedily and economically than litigation with more flexible outcomes which are tailored to the particular dispute. This work presents an introduction to Alternative Dispute Resolution as it currently operates in Scotland.
