Human Rights and the European Convention systematically examines the various ways in which the Convention has affected the legal systems of England and Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. It analyses the cases from Britain and Ireland which have been decided by the European Commission and the Court of Human Rights, and examines the consequences those decisions have had within the domestic legal system concerned.
