The 9th edition will:

• include a new method statement/checklist to help guide the busy practitioner through the interpretive process
• contain rewritten and restructured chapters on the core principles of interpretation
• draw on key recent Supreme Court decisions (many of which themselves cite the work)
• contain a rewritten chapter on the effect on domestic law of EU law, in light of the Retained EU Law (Revocation and Reform) Act 2023
• reflect the ongoing stream of case law in the field of statutory interpretation, with new and updated examples bringing the principles to life.
