This book is an overview and revision guide for the BPTC. It is based upon and closely follows the structure of the 2014 – 2015 syllabus for Civil Litigation, Evidence and Remedies.
It contains numerous tables and diagrams aimed at simplifying the key rules. The result is that the reader has the foundations for each section of the syllabus in concisely structured chapters.
Civil Litigation, Evidence and Remedies is the most challenging examination on the Bar Professional Training Course. Over the last three years failure rates have significantly increased. In 2013 and 2014 over 40% of students failed the exam on the first sitting.
