Originally published by Faurmet.

This book looks at the area of ecclesiastical conveyancing, the statutory provisions and practical procedures of which remain very much relevant since the Church of England continues to rank as one of the nation's largest landowners. The book aims to provide a clear, concise framework of the main principles of the ecclesiastical conveyancing process, together with comments and explanations and a degree of background detail, both from the point of view of the vendor and the purchaser, so as to enable the transaction to be conducted with confidence and understanding. There are appendices which give an explanation of the territorial divisions, synodical government and hierarchy of the Church of England, as well as a range of precedents. The author is a practising solicitor who has made a special study of ecclesiastical conveyancing.

Contents:
Diocesan glebe land
parsonage land
property vested in the diocesan authority
property vested in the diocesan board of finance under the Pastoral Measures 1968 and 1983
