This collabarative work examines both the growth of EC law and the the development of special rules to protect consumers. The authors suggest that the EC should adopt a more radical approach to consumer protection so that the benefits of the laws are not restricted to a few active internal market consumers.;At a crucial time in the evolution of EC consumer law, the authors offer analysis of both past and present trends and future directions for consumer protection legislation.
