It covers marriage and divorce; matrimonial and de facto property; child support and maintenance under the child support scheme and Family Law Act; spousal maintenance; the law of children under the Family Law Act and adoption Acts; family violence; and mediation.
The second edition covers the large number of recent developments in Australian family law. These include same sex property and maintenance provisions,superannuation and property [Bill] amendments currently before the Senate and recent amendments to the child support scheme. The first edition was the first to cover the amendments to the children provisions of the Family Law Act. This edition is the only whole text treatment of the recent developments currently available.
