The aim of this book is to set out as clearly as possible the notarial profession in India. It is directed primarily for lawyers, notaries, and professional advisors in UK, USA, Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand and rest of the world who are interested in India.
The emphasis of the book is on the practical application of the notarial acts and documents to be used in India with the broad background of the legal and notarial profession. The book is a good source of precedents either used in India or at Indian consular offices overseas. I have endeavoured to write this book in a simple manner and hope the readers will be at ease especially when reading about Indian law.
