Providing an annual overview, this book takes a critical look at contemporary development in minority-majority relations in Europe. It combines analysis, commentary and documentation in relation to conflict management, international legal developments and domestic legislation affecting minorities in Europe. The first section of the book contains scholarly articles covering three special focus sections: ""Minority Rights as a New Regime of Multilevel Governance in Europe"", ""None-Discrimination"" and ""Complex Power-Sharing Arrangements as a Means of Overcoming Self-Determination Disputes"". The second section reviews the implementation of minority legislation and international standards at the universal and regional levels as well as new development in relation to them and contains a chronology of events.
