This collection of Professor Waldron's essays explores the issue of disagreement and its relevance for or against relativistically pluralistic theses about the character of morality and law. Several of the pieces have been published but the principal value of the collection lies in the drawing together of a number of respected and influential essays, together with new and revised essays in which Professor Waldron amplifies and sharpens certain of his philosophical arguments. Written in an accessible and non-technical style, these essays explain complex issues in a simple way.
