UK employment law is increasingly influenced by that of the European Union, despite Parliament's rejection of the Social Policy Protocol of the Maastricht Treaty. The text aims to show how national labour laws are filtered through the prism of EU institutions and re-emerge to contribute to the ongoing transformation of labour law in Britain and in Europe.
