Edward Parker Wolstenholme (1824-1908) and Benjamin Lennard Cherry (1869-1932), both of Trinity College Cambridge and later both were called by Lincoln's Inn.
Both became benchers and both were conveyancing counsel to the court (1877-1905, and 1914-1932) Cherry was Wolstenholme's pupil, and the book has always been a title of joint editorship until the 9th edition when Cherry became senior editor and continued until the 12th published in 1932, the year of his death.
This 13th edition, published forty years after the 12th and expanded from two to six volumes, is edited by J.T. Farrand, and proved to be the last edition published.
