First published in 1829, George Joseph Bell's Principles of the Law of Scotland weny through four editions in the authors lifetime and a further six - much altered and expanded by other hands - after his death in 1843.
This present volume reprints the 4th edition of 1839, the last prepared by Bell himself and contains his final thoughts on the private and commercial law of Scotland.
