The second edition provides a comprehensive guide to the law and practice of civil proceedings usually involving the State. This includes all facets of procedure in judicial review and constitutional litigation. It also deals with cases stated, habeas corpus, relator proceedings, etc. The book also sets out the applicable procedure in the national courts where issues of Community law arise. The procedure in the Luxembourg and Strasbourg Courts are also considered.
