Towards a Coherent Legal Framework for Sustainable Collective Investment Funds in the EU is a book which is the culmination of six years of doctoral research at the KU Leuven under the supervision of Prof. Dr Veerle Colaert. The project was supported by a fellowship from the Research Foundation - Flanders (FWO). Some investors seek to align their investments with sustainability interests. As a result, sustainable funds have gained mainstream appeal, with combined assets under management surpassing two trillion euros in Europe. Funds are vehicles created by asset managers to pool money from various investors to achieve specific investment objectives.
