This book covers the legal limits of the discretion of the EU Member States to manage waste. Part I of the book introduces the EU law applicable to waste management and the relevance of the European Convention of Human Rights. In Part II the Jurisprudence on waste management is dealt with. In Part III an assessment of the existing regulations is presented and suggestions for improvement.
