OPERATING HOURS from 28th June 2021: Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5pm
To safeguard the health of staff & customers we will be limiting access to 4 customers at a time. Please, wear a mask. Many of our customers love to browse our shelves and often visit us for extended periods. We ask that during this time you limit your visit for essential purchases and we will keep you updated on when we can fully return to allowing you to browse at your leisure.
What we have in place:
We have installed safety signage throughout our bookshop which includes instruction around social distancing measures.
Hand sanitisation: A station is available for use and is located by the staircase in the bookshop.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Our staff wear face masks in all customer-facing areas and sanitise their hands throughout the day. The wearing of face coverings (with certain exemptions) by our customers is required by law. In extreme circumstances, should an individual without exemption refuse to wear a face covering, we reserve the right to refuse entry.
Paying for your purchases: We do accept cash, but we prefer contactless payments to minimise the potential of virus transmission. We are offering a click and collect service for orders placed on the website.
Cleaning: Our bookshop surfaces are sanitised throughout the day, especially at busy touch points. These include door handles, card machines, and common areas.
Toilets: We do not have customer toilet facilities onsite.
ORDER LEAD TIME:
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, some online orders may possibly experience despatch and delivery delays. All delivery times quoted are average and are not guaranteed. Many of the publishers are not functioning with a full staff complement, hence delays have a knock-on effect on our ability to deliver your order in a timely manner.
Our website and bookshop are both much busier than normal so order processing and delivery time frames may differ due to staff capacity and Royal Mail’s ability to deliver.
