The International Conference on the former Yugoslavia constituted a different approach to peace-keeping and peace-making. Its structure, activities and relations with the personalities and entities within the former Yugoslavia are complex, and this volume offers an appraisal for both now and the future. Much has been written on the events which preceded, accompanied and followed the break-up of Yugoslavia, and much is still to be written, however, this volume of the Papers of the ICFY seeks to present the events in a logical and accessible form.
