This book is an introduction to social housing allocation in England. It explains to readers how social housing is, and should be, allocated, explains the principles of law and looks at some of the key cases before the courts.
The book should allow its readers to understand the basics to navigate Part 6 of the Housing Act 1996 and seeks to be a useful initial reference guide for those working within social housing, their lawyers and students.
