
Law of Salvage aims to expound the basic law of maritime salvage as laid down by the Admiralty Court; to set out the modern law of salvage, with particular reference to the International Salvage Convention 1989; to explain how the modern law and practice are regulated by contractual arrangements, specifically by virtue of the industry standard, Lloyd’s Standard Form of Salvage Agreement (LOF); and to integrate discussion of relevant elements of the general law.
