Job description – Customer Services Advisor.

Wildy & Sons Ltd is a long-established law bookshop situated in the centre of legal London. We are seeking an experienced bookseller to work in one of the most extraordinary bookshops in the country as part of a small, friendly team. Knowledge of the law is not required but bookselling experience and a keen eye for detail is essential.

The applicant will be responsible for providing general retail duties including raising invoices, dispatching orders, and dealing with customers in person, on the phone and via e-mail. The applicant will require excellent customer service and IT skills, with the ability to work in a pressurised environment without compromising on quality or accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• To provide excellent customer service, supplying visitors with information and advice in relation to the bookshop’s services, answering enquiries in person, by phone or in writing.


• Clear and effective written, verbal and IT communication skills.


• A proven ability to deal with the public in a calm and confident manner.


• Attention to detail and the ability to work in a pressured retail environment without compromising on quality.


• Able to adapt to a constantly changing programme, with a flexible attitude and willingness to learn.

Working Hours – 37.5 hours a week.
Monday – Friday 8.30 AM- 5 PM
