Scottish Criminal Law is a major new journal being published by W. Green, an imprint of Sweet & Maxwell.

Scottish Criminal Law will publish monthly from January 2008, making it twice as current as any other criminal case reports series available in Scotland.

The key content of each issue will include:

• A Feature Article- offering in-depth analysis of important legal developments

• An Appeal Court column- looking at current and pending appeals and discussing points of practical importance

• Full-text law reports with case commentaries- putting the cases into context and expanding their significance

• Full-text sentencing cases- which can be difficult to source
