This book is about four key developments in the relationship between intellectual property and private international law which have taken place over the past twelve years. Focusing mainly on UK aspects, it examines the substantive and procedural issues of enforcing intellectual property rights under UK law when goods enter international trade and the private international law problems involved. It covers specifically: * Application of the Brussels Convention by the English Courts * The regime for tort in the conflict of laws * Implementation of the Rome Convention * Trends towards English Courts granting relief on a pan-European basis.
