The housing needs of vulnerable children and homeless families are a priority for social landlords. Yet the legislation, case-law and official guidelines are complex. This work sets out to provide guidance for professionals and advisers who are not lawyers.;Divided into three sections, the book deals with: provision for homeless families; specific problems which result in the homelessness of children (children without a family, support to keep families together, threats at home, parental behaviour designed to make families homeless, and child behaviour resulting in eviction);and other related housing problems and financial provision.
