This book is a collection of personal injuries cases dealing specifically with the issue of the Quantum of Damages. It aims to provide an understanding of the range of damages applicable to a particular anatomy injury, e.g. back, shoulder etc. For each case there is a summary of the injuries involved, their effect on the plantiff and the result in terms of general damages and specials. This is a highly practical book and the material is presented in a clear format, enabling practitioners to quickly digest relevant cases. The cases are drawn from the Supreme Court, High Court and Circuit Court, mostly dating from 1990 onwards. A substantial number of the cases are hitherto unreported.
